Mrs. Annie Bethune 68 of 4025 Daniel McLeod Road Red Springs, North Carolina transitioned to be with the Lord on December 28, 2021.

Visitation will be Monday January 3, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Golden Gates Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 4, 2022, in the Golden Gates Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. Burial: St. John Cemetery, Shannon, North Carolina.

Ms. Annie Jane Bethune was born on June 3, 1953, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina to Beulah McLean and the late Lucious McLinnahan. On Tuesday, December 28, 2021, she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal home with the Lord.

Annie will always be remembered by her charming personality and smile. Annie is a Class of 1971 graduate of Red Springs High School. After graduation, she furthered her education at Robeson Community College. 



Annie leaves to cherish her loving memories: her mother, Beulah McLean, of Red Springs, NC. Three children, Kisha Bowman (Rodney), of Reisterstown MD; Nicole Bethune, of Red Springs, NC; and Tyrone Bethune Jr. (Charrita), of Fayetteville, NC. Her sister, Mary Jones, of Bowie, MD. Six grandchildren, Chamari Tucker (Steven), of Windsor Mill, MD; Tyrone Bethune, of Austin, TX, Trinity Bethune, of Fayetteville, NC; Cameron Bethune, of Red Springs, NC; and RaNiya & RaMia Bowman of Reisterstown, MD. One great-grandchild, Naima Tucker. Two nieces, Eulonda Wiseman and Adrianne Wallace. One nephew, Albert Jones Jr. and a host of cousins.
